We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join the Primary Care team at HMP Full Sutton. HMP Full Sutton is a Category A and B mens prison in the village of Full Sutton in the East Riding of Yorkshire. It is a half an hour drive from York city centre. The prison is purpose built and has capacity to hold 560 men in conditions of high security.
This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients, and delivering outstanding care.Hours:
This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, and you will work on rotational shifts, including nights and weekends.
Salary:
This position is full time , youll receive an annual salary up to £27,195 per annum - depending on experience.

As our new Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:
- Provide outstanding quality based care to all patients
- Deliver personalised, non judgemental care, based on patient feedback
- Contribute to, and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing and clinics
- Support the nursing and pharmacy teams in primary care on the wings and healthcare centres
