The professional group is led by our Director of Therapies and our Chief Psychologist, both Consultant Clinical Psychologists.

The role involves delivering specialist psychological assessment and treatment to service users who are experiencing first episode psychosis. The post holder will be able to offer supervision, advice, consultation and training to colleagues about psychological care for service users and carers. There will be a mix of individual and group interventions.
A key part of the role will be leading on the research trials which the team are collaborating with, currently involving the use of Virtual Reality.
There is a strong sense of camaraderie within the Milton Keynes EIP team, and a strong partnership between operational and clinical staff. There are opportunities to access specialist training in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for psychosis and behavioural family therapy. There may also be an opportunity to spend one clinic session per week in another team/speciality to maintain additional skills.
You will join a friendly, highly experienced and supportive group of psychological therapists in Milton Keynes, with opportunities to meet, share innovations and learn together regularly
The post holder will need to be a qualified and registered therapist or psychologist , with the HCPC or equivalent.
If your application is successful, you will receive regular supervision and support from the Clinical Service Lead as well as benefit from support and guidance from other team members. You will also be linked in with Trust - Wide psychological professions initiatives and events.
