Job summary

  • To be responsible, with others, for the delivery of EBUS for the SW London population across the SGH and Royal Marsden Hospital (RMH) Sites
  • To contribute to the delivery of the Lung Cancer Screening Programme in West London at the SGH site
  • To take an active part in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training. There are opportunities to develop including PGCERT whilst in this post
  • Opportunity to work in the pleural service across GESH and RMH sites
This post is ideally suited to a senior trainee looking for an Out Of Programme Experience or an individual who is post CCT and wishes to gain further experience in bronchoscopy, pleural disease and lung cancer.

  • Support Specialist Thoracic Oncology Service (Outpatient clinics & In-patient advice), including support for the 'Targeted Lung Health Check' programme
  • To join bronchoscopy/EBUS lists.
  • Opportunity to develop and integrate pleural services across GESH and RMH sites
  • To participate in clinical teaching of the Department, both undergraduate and postgraduate
  • To develop clinical research projects
