Belong Chester are a leading not for profit care provider based on City Road in Chester.
We are looking to recruit a temporary part-time receptionist to work on our bustling and vibrant front desk. To be a receptionist at Belong Chester you need a warm and friendly personality and the ability to think and react in a caring and supportive manner. We really can say that no two days are ever the same at Belong, your duties will be varied; you may be greeting residents families, completing Village documentation or showing prospective new customers around our wonderful facilities.
As the role is in the care sector we do need our core staff to be able to be flexible; this role is 20 hours per week and it will include covering shifts at the weekend and on religious/bank holidays on a rota basis.
The hourly rate for this role is £12.00 per hour.
This role will be for 20 hours pw.
This is a temporary role to cover maternity leave.
Requirements
Main Responsibilities
- To provide an efficient and welcoming reception service giving all visitors an excellent first impression
- Support the delivery of administration services within the village
- To work in accordance with Belong standards and values; ensuring a culture and environment where people feel supported and valued
- Act as a point of contact in person and on the telephone; signposting visitors, colleagues and customers appropriately in a helpful and professional manner, ensuring an excellent service is provided
- Maintain effective and efficient communication systems for the village
- Maintain calendars and booking systems for the village facilities
- Respond positively to customer feedback and ensure it is recorded and reported/directed to the appropriate team or management members
- Operate the point of sale service for the reception and administration of the village
- Ensure all reception and visitor areas are kept clean, tidy and all customer literature available
- Ensure all reception equipment and furniture is in good working order; reporting defects immediately
- Contribute and work collaboratively as a team member and establish good working relationships with colleagues, customers, professionals and visitors
- Carry out general administrative duties as required
- Inform management of any concerns that may pose a risk to health, safety and wellbeing of customers, visitors or colleagues
- Maintain the confidentiality of information
- Promote and ensure the good reputation of Belong
- Attend and constructively contribute to meetings relevant to your role
- Be responsible for your own personal development, undertaking learning & development relevant to this role
