Our client was founded at the end of 2by two friends who have over 40 years of combined experience.

Their aim is to provide care with passion and pride to give customers the highest standard of assistance within their own homes. They want to enable customers to be independent, happy, comfortable and confident in their own environment.

You will support customers with daily living activities in their homes, ensuring they enjoy the best possible quality of life. This role requires working mostly alone with customers, where your compassion, communication skills, and calm demeanor will be essential.

Essential Criteria


  • Attributes: Caring, compassionate, respectful, self-motivated, reliable, and hygienic.
  • Knowledge: Understanding the needs of people requiring care and the importance of confidentiality.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and numerical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Additional Requirements: Enhanced DBS clearance, Class 1 business insurance (if using own car).


Desirable Criteria


  • NVQ/QCF Level 2 or equivalent
  • Previous care work experience
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
  • Health and safety awareness in home care
  • Full drivers licence


What will your role as a Care Worker look like?


  • Provide compassionate, person-centred care and support
  • Respect customers' choices and promote their dignity
  • Monitor and report any changes or concerns promptly
  • Assist with personal care, medication, nutrition, and household tasks
  • Engage customers in social, physical, and mental activities
  • Support customers through temporary and terminal illnesses
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality
