Calderdale & Huddersfield Solutions Ltd have an exciting opportunity for an entry level apprenticeship to Healthcare Science Clinical Engineering at either NVQ Level 4/6 depending on successful candidates qualifications.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will primarily carry out scheduled preventative maintenance on a wide range of Medical Devices; however they will also participate in the repair, calibration, safety and acceptance testing. The post holder is required to work to high standards of safety and accountability and provide up to date technical information on medical devices and related subjects to key clinical staff. As a member of the Clinical Engineering service, the post holder will be expected to carry out their duties under direct supervision initially then with limited supervision once deemed competent, whilst following departmental and national policies at all times.
