We have a strong teamwork ethic and encourage CSW's to support our clerical team on a regular basis as well, this requires up to date skills and confidence with IT systems.
**Please note, the NHS salary scales have recently changed and are expected to come into effect in October. New starters joining the Trust before this time will commence on the old payscales and will move to the new ones once they have been finalised**
An exciting opportunity has arisen on the Same Day Emergency Care department to welcome a new Clinical Support Worker into our team.
Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) is a fast paced, rapid assessment unit for medical patients who have been referred by the Emergency Department (ED), wards within the hospital and primary care. Ensuring patients are in the right place, receiving the right care.
The right candidate will need to be motivated, eager to learn new skills, approachable and positive.
As a Clinical Support worker you will have a range of duties including: prioritizing patient care, performing basic observations, patient weights, blood glucose levels and urinalysis.
In addition you will undertake more complex duties including phlebotomy, Cannulation, ECG's, collating patient history and assisting with assessments.
