The Dept. of Orthotics at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Hospital, Oswestry, is looking for an experienced senior Orthotist to join our large clinical team.

We are looking for a motivated and engaged Orthotist looking to work as part of a forward thinking clinical team. The applicant needs to have extensive experience in all area's of clinical Orthotics including spinal, gait and diabetic management. The position is fixed term for 14 months.

Additional experience supporting areas including audit, audit and teaching would also be desirable.

This role is fully clinical, managing their own caseload of complex patients in all areas of Orthotics. They must have evidenced experience and be fully competent in all areas of Orthotic clinical treatment. They must have worked as part of MDT teams as well as independently. They must also be able to work across the different clinical sites where we provide clinics.

They will also assist in education of graduate Orthotist's, apprentice Orthotist's, under graduate students as well as more formal teaching and lecture presentation to other depts. and professional groups outside of Orthotics.

They will also engage and participate in Dept. meetings both clinical and general, and also link in with specialist clinical groups as required.
