Grampian across various sites as follows Aberdeen Maternity Hospital, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital and Woodend General Hospital.
We have a Band 2 Outpatient Receptionist post available as follows:
Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00
We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide administrative support to the Outpatients Department
The role will involve dealing with telephone enquiries from patients, processing GP referrals, preparing clinic lists and paperwork for upcoming clinics, assisting clinic coordinators with booking appointments from outpatient waiting lists and any other general administrative duties.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate good customer service skills, polite telephone manner and be able to work as part of a team. You should have the ability to work well under pressure during times of staff shortages and a flexible approach to the needs of the department are essential.
Applicants must have the ability to deal with service users and colleagues in a confident, caring and empathetic manner both over the phone and in person. You should be well organised and methodical with excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills to cope with the demands of a busy clinic reception.
