ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Activities Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll deliver imaginative, fun and varied activities to ensure our residents can enjoy an environment that is motivational and fulfilling. As an Activities Assistant, you'll be responsible for planning and delivering a diverse range of activities, outings, and social events that cater to the interests and needs of the care home residents. This includes organizing games, arts and crafts, exercise classes, and trips to local amenities. The role requires creativity, empathy, and the ability to encourage and motivate others. You'll play a vital part in improving the quality of life for the residents and helping them stay engaged with their hobbies and the local community.
