Locala's Health and Wellbeing Integrated Communities we deliver a range of multidisciplinary community services, including integrated health and social care with our colleagues in Kirklees Council. Locala has been successful in our service improvement work and planning with enhanced service offers providing support to patients, improving their experience, and ensuring excellent continuity of care.

As a result of this success, we have some exciting roles and vacancies across our teams / services who are working together to provide the best patient care in Kirklees. Locala support full and part time working and provide opportunities for flexibility to meet a healthy work life balance too. Our aim is:-

  • To provide a physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse clinical presentations
  • To formulate and deliver individual treatment programmes
  • To have responsibility for own clinical caseload and agreed area of practice working without direct supervision. Access to advice and support from Senior physiotherapists is available
  • To undertake all aspects of work as an autonomous practitioner

  • To supervise heath care assistants and Assistant Practitioner
