Band 7 Senior Charge Nurse.



37 hours per week.


An exciting full time post has arisen for a Band 7 Senior Charge Nurse to join and lead our friendly and supportive nursing team within Ward 305/306, Acute Stroke in NHS Grampian.

This is an opportunity to join an excellent team and develop in your nursing career within acute medicine. We are looking for the successful candidate to be motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic and have the ability to work in a fast paced and at times, challenging but rewarding care environment. You would be required to lead and support the nursing team and work closely with the multidisciplinary and medical teams and have the ability to rise to any presenting challenges.

Ward 305/6, is a 24 bedded ward caring for patients within the acute phase of a stroke.

Candidates should have extensive post registration nursing experience within acute medicine together with current experience as a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse in a ward environment. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate clinical excellence in nursing practice and be able to evidence continuous service improvement and development.

Excellent leadership skills are essential as the successful candidate must have the ability to adapt and lead the team through ever changing situations.
