A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Neurology Long Term Condition Services in Bolton. We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our busy and friendly team.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced member of staff to be part of our team working within the outpatient setting, supporting our
patients, consultants and nurses.
The Neurology Long-Term conditions service includes Neuro Rehab, Psychology, Epilepsy, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and CFS/ME
services. We provide a range of specialist neurological out-patient and community services and are committed to providing excellent clinical
performance and patient care. Our teams are fully multi-disciplinary and you can always expect a warm, friendly, and welcoming working
environment.
You will work Monday-Thursday .
We are committed to your development and will create a dedicated personal development plan for you to make sure you are fully supported.

If successful, you will join a friendly, innovative team based at Breightmet Health centre
The role includes supporting the flow in the Neurology outpatient clinics at Breightmet Health centre. Clinics are held by Neurology Consultants
and Specialist nurses and your role will be to ensure the smooth running of these clinics, checking patient notes are present and keeping
everyone informed of progress with appointments.
As part of this role you will collect friends and family surveys from patients to help us ensure we are meeting our patients needs.
Some of our Neurology patients require blood tests, and we will train you to become competent in taking bloods, labelling the blood sample and
sending off for processing.
This role is an extremely valuable role within the team and we will support the successful candidate in their development as a health professional,
ensuring learning needs are identified and met, and that you will have regular supervision.
