Role: Hospital Manager


Job Description


You will take overall responsibility for the effective management of the service to ensure the highest quality of diagnosis, care and treatment is offered to individuals.

Leading an MDT, you will provide hands on management support and guidance to the teams, managing activities and influencing best practice, with line management responsibilities for the SLT.

Working in full compliance with legislation and regulatory bodies, you will manage the business to meet organic growth.


Key Responsibilities


Line management across MDT, reviewing policy and procedure and chairing review meetings.

Management of staff including Senior Leadership Teams and Clinicians.

Monitoring budgets, and taking responsibility for the financial management of the unit.

Taking overall responsibility of recruitment, employment and working practice in line with Employment Law and ensuring high standards of staffing are achieved.

Keeping updated on all aspects of best social care and leadership practice and providing informed and professional judgements.

Taking overall responsibility for reporting both internally and externally.


Requirements


In depth knowledge of statutory and regulatory legislation.

Experience of providing management expertise in a residential service.

Evidence of audits and making improvements.

Work within a MDT to achieve positive outcomes for patients.

The ability to manage and guide staff including clinicians and raise morale.

Strong interpersonal skills.


Preferred Qualifications


Clinical qualification and NMC PIN.

Educated to Degree level in appropriate field (Health and Social Care) and / or NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
