Main duties of the job

The Regional Clinical Lead Educator will be reporting into our Head of Education and will partner with the Regional Operations Manager and Hospitals Managers to identify training needs across the region. They will be supporting the Regional Clinical Educators to coordinate the delivery of education services across our hospitals within the South region.The Regional Lead Clinical Educator is responsible for delivering educational support to ensure the workforce is fit for the future and promoting the Company as a future employer to all learners, splitting their time clinically, working with students, new starters, and existing staff undertaking a variety of activities identified through job planning.

Design and deliver clinical education programmes in response to training needs across the region.Lead and manage the Regional Clinical Educators to deliver robust training programmes to achieve a high performing team in every hospital unit and function.Work alongside clinical colleagues to support confidence and competency in the skills required to perform their roles.Contribute to clinical operational activity in order to maintain up to date practice and demonstrate role model behaviours.Work alongside clinical colleagues to act as an assessor to sign off clinical competencies.

  • Ability to work flexibly and effectively within a team.
  • Ability to travel to and work across multiple sites.
  • Passion for high quality patient safety and care
