Days of work – BEFORE SCHOOL (1.5 HOURS) AND AFTER SCHOOL 4PM-7PM. TWO TIMES PER WEEK .
Regular Day Care: 10 hrs X 50 weeks
Holiday Day Care: 6hrs/session per week – 10 weeks - 16 HOURS

are looking for Complex Care Assistants in the YORK area.
Your day to day activities will include looking after a young female:
is 13yrs old and lives at home with both parents and older brother
has been diagnosed with Partial Edwards Syndrome and Global Developmental Delay.
has had her tracheostomy removed on the 26/08/2021, this continues to be monitored.
has bilateral cerebral atrophy, cortical visual impairment and gastro-oesophageal reflux, she requires feeding via a mini button.

Your colleagues and management team will work with you during your induction to help you put your training into practice and answer any questions you may have. You’ll start building your own support network from day one – this will include your management team, colleagues and departments at Group Support.
Your ongoing development , whether it be studying for an NVQ, refresher or specific clinic training is invested in too.
If you have a passion for the care of vulnerable people, are self-motivated, work well under pressure and in challenging situations, we would love to speak with you!
