Tern Vets is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Clinical Lead Vet to join our team in Newport, Shropshire on a permanent basis.
Join our team and play a pivotal role in the growth and development of our clinical staff. As a leader, you will conduct annual reviews, refine practice protocols, and collaborate closely with our Practice Director.

The Clinical Lead Vet role would typically entails working up to 40 hours per week, with a requirement for at least 3 days of presence across both practices (excluding Saturdays) to ensure appropriate levels of support and leadership.
About our practice
We have a team of 7 vets, made up of full and part time team members and 6 RVNs , 2 student nurses and an experienced client care team.
Our veterinary team holds certificates in Feline Medicine, Small Animal Medicine, Surgery, Nutrition and Cardiology currently in progress. The successful candidate will be welcomed, well supported where necessary but also given clinical freedom. We are a current, progressive and collaborative practice who strive to keep looking forward.
We have well equipped consulting rooms, 2 operating theatres at each site, imaging suite with xray ultrasound and endoscopy, laparoscopic bitch spay equipment, Tonopen and dental facilities.
North Shropshire has the advantage of being rural and beautiful, perfect for dog walking, horse riding, wild water swimming, mountain biking etc. Whilst being within easy access of Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool.
