The Winchester Older Persons Community Mental Health Team is looking to recruit a full time Administrator to join our friendly team. Based in the centre of Winchester there is free on site parking and flexible working will be considered.

Applications are invited for the above position working 37.5hrs a week in a supportive and busy community mental health team. The post holder must have experience of working within an administrative environment and will be working closely with our consultants and clinical staff booking appointments, audio typing, drafting and typing up of minutes of meetings, taking messages and answering telephone calls on behalf of the team. You will need to have a warm and professional manner as you may be the first point of contact for people who access our service. The successful candidate will be working as part of a team and therefore being a team player is essential. You will need to have good IT skills and you should have the ability to work under pressure, work independently, and as part of the team.

We will provide excellent training and a full induction process and you will have regular support and supervision from the Business administration manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast paced and supportive friendly multi-disciplinary team, providing a professional clerical support service to the team. You should have excellent IT skills, interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with a broad range of professionals and service users.

To provide a comprehensive administration and secretarial service to the clinical team. The post holder will be responsible for the organisation of their own workload and delegated decisions/actions, as deemed appropriate by the Business Administration Manager, Team Leader or Team Manager. The needs of the service user will be the utmost priority. The principle of high-quality customer care is at the heart of this role.
