We'd love to welcome you to our integrated therapy team at Buckinghamshire NHS Trust.We are currently recruiting for
2 Band 5 SLTs
to join our friendly and innovative team. In this role, you will support children and young people in mainstream schools with Speech, Language, and Communication Needs, including those with EHCP's.

We have a strong commitment to supporting the development of your clinical practice and professional skills. We offer a unique opportunity with our Practice Development Therapist who works very closely with our team leads and supports the staff across all therapies.

You will have access to our

, and will receive:

  • A comprehensive induction supported by the Practice Development Therapist
  • A 2-year Trust Preceptorship programme to develop professional confidence, skills, values and behaviours to continue on a journey of lifelong learning within Bucks
  • Specialist support to help you achieve your RCSLT competencies within your first year
  • Regular clinical supervision, one to ones and peer groups focused on supporting newly qualified therapists
  • Year-round access to Continuing Professional Development opportunities
  • Shadowing and mentorship from Clinical Leads across a range of specialisms
  • Clinical and caseload discussions with senior colleagues.
  • Access to coaching, mentoring and external courses including CENs
