The postholder will act as a programme lead for a number of key programmes, across eight individual clinical and operational areas within the Division including:
Imaging (Radiology)
Cancer, Oncology and Haematology
Allied Health Professions (including Therapies, Nutrition and Dietetics, Podiatry and Orthotics)
Clinical Engineering
Pharmacy
Outpatients
Mortuary services
Clinical Pathology (*in partnership with and part of East and South East London Pathology)
The postholder will also represent LGT in a number of system wide projects, interfacing where relevant with South East London clinical networks (including the local cancer alliance) and the East and South East London Pathology Partnership. The postholder will be required to deputise for the Divisional Director of Operations externally at SEL sector Network Boards and internally at executive committees and meetings when required.

Deputy Divisional Director of Operations
for the Division of Allied Clinical Services.
This post, reporting into the Divisional Director of Operations, is a senior leadership position within the division working closely with the Divisional Triumvirate team.
The post-holder will manage delivery of a range of complex and/or time critical service challenges within the Division on behalf of the Divisional Director of Operations.
The key purpose of this position is to provide senior leadership to implementation of service delivery and development plans across the division; it is the nominated deputy role for the DDO within the ACS senior leadership team.
The Deputy Divisional Director of Operations has key oversight of pathology services within the Trust - including its partnership within East and South East London Pathology Partnership. It also has line management responsibility for the cancer, oncology and haematology directorate, clinical engineering directorate and divisional business support team. In line with matrix working across the division, it will also support all other directorates across the division.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced operational manager.
Experience of service and pathway improvement is essential, and ideally the candidate would have skills in facilitation service improvement with teams. Excellent communication skills are essential along with strong analytical skills and a passion as we do for the highest standard of patient care.
