Receptionist - Glasgow


Rolling temporary contract -
Minimum of 2 weeks, projected up to 5 weeks but with the possibility of becoming permanent


Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm



Overview



Hourly rate depending on experience


To be the first point of contact for visitors and staff in a busy regional office for a well-known insurance company.


Responsibilities


  • Meeting and greeting clients, and managing all visitors to the building.
  • Maintain a booking system for the meeting rooms, provide equipment and refreshments, set up for meetings (where applicable)
  • Deal with all incoming & outgoing mail, couriers & deliveries.
  • Provide administrative support to the other areas of the business where necessary.
  • Ordering of stationary and office supplies (where applicable)
  • Order and arrange internal working lunches


Qualifications



Essential
:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience of reception, telephone switchboard, access control and communication systems.
  • Strong administration & organisational skills.
  • Professional & welcoming manner.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Packages
  • Ability to work on own initiative.

As we are an FCA regulated company, we would need to conduct background and financial checks as well as the standard right-to-work and proof of address checks, prior to commencement.
