NHS Forth Valley Pharmacy Services have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Support Worker to assist the GP practice Pharmacy teams with delivering the pharmacotherapy service in Primary Care.

The Primary Care Pharmacy Team are currently undertaking new and exciting roles within local GP practices and working towards fulfilling the vision set out by Achieving Excellence in Pharmaceutical Care. You will be part of a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who work together to support the management of medicines and improve patient care.

For this role you are required to have a SVQ in Pharmacy Services at SCQF level 6 or equivalent (or be willing to work towards this). You must have experience dealing with patients/public and a real commitment to improving patient care. You should have effective interpersonal and communication skills as you will liaise closely with general practice and community pharmacy colleagues and care homes. You will have good organisation and prioritisation skills as well as be computer literate with an ability to learn new computer systems. You must be a team player and have a willingness to be flexible and adaptable.
