We are currently seeking Health Care Assistants possessing the highest standards of care and compassion in order to aid, coach and support our diverse population of patient requirements here in Gloucester.

In this role you need to be a motivated, flexible and resourceful team player who has high standards and can embrace the service changes and developments. You will be supported by a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team of Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and administrative staff, whilst providing support to the Gloucester Community. You will deliver high quality care, whilst supporting the patients with a variety of conditions and needs, in their own homes.

You need to be able to work part time or full time over a shift system which includes early and late shifts across 7 days including weekends and bank holidays. To excel in this role you will require excellent communication and clinical skills to deliver safe and effective patient centred care to our local population. You will be able to maintain accurate record keeping to ensure that details of the care given is recorded in line with trust policies.

On a daily basis you will be responsible for the delivery of care for a specific group of patients, ensuring you treat all patients, carers and staff with dignity and respect. Your role will involve tasks such as venepuncture, a variety of wound care, performing clinical observations and reporting changes to patients health and well-being as appropriate
