Implement our Health and wellbeing strategy and work within the policies and procedures of our Trust.
You will take a leading role in engaging with our colleagues in line with Our People Strategy for health & wellbeing. The role will involve supporting, guiding and encouraging staff to improve their own health through motivational support signposting and communication. You will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating initiatives, programmes and services relating to health and wellbeing and supporting colleagues at our Trust to make healthier lifestyle choices in respect of their physical and mental health.
The Health and Wellbeing Lead will contribute to the development, delivery and evaluation of our Health and Wellbeing Strategy, and sustainable health and wellbeing programmes and interventions.
Take an active role in our Trust’s Health and Wellbeing Steering Group, leading on task and finish groups under the remit of the Steering Group. Providing assurance on the progress of all health and wellbeing workstreams within the remit of your role.

Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure that all relevant information in relation to activities that influence health, wellbeing is shared in a timely manner to support health improvement outcomes.
Develop and maintain knowledge of services and contacts within our integrated care systems including the local authority, community and public health organisations.
Use information and feedback obtained from data sources including the NHS staff survey, Health and Wellbeing audits and diagnostic tools including the NHS Health and Wellbeing Framework to improve health and wellbeing interventions and offers for colleagues across our Trust.
Facilitate the delivery of health and wellbeing interventions, using a range of practical tools, at both organisational and team level.
