The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Health Centre Administrator to join our team at East Kilbride Locality. To manage the day-to-day running of a large, complex Health Centre & outlying clinic(s). To build productive working relationships internally and externally a network of support to achieve organisational objectives.

To provide and manage a comprehensive administrative and clerical support to clinical/non clinical colleagues.

What we'll need you to bring

  • HNC or equivalent management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to liaise with different personalities
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Experience in managing buildings and staff
  • Must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience working within the NHS
  • Experience liaising with Council departments and other statutory organisations
  • Minute taking experience
  • Knowledge of NHS systems and structures
  • Knowledge of Housing, Social work and Education services and structures
  • Ensure confidentiality, diplomacy and discretion are maintained at all times
  • Minute taking skills
  • Ability to organise and facilitate meetings and other events
  • High level of personal initiative

Please note this is a part time post and the salary for this position will be pro-rata.

This role will be based in Administration within East Kilbride Locality
