Job summary

The post will be based at St George's Healthcare NHS Trust in Tooting.The appointee will be an important component of the Nephrology team and will have dutiesassociated with the full range of Nephrology patients; in-patient Nephrology, day attendees forhaemodialysis and CAPD patients as well as out-patients, and renal transplants.The post will be resident 1 in 6; out-of-hours duties will include responsibility for all renalinpatients, reviewing renal patients as necessary on the chronic outpatient dialysis units and beinvolved in managing renal patients who present to the hospital as emergencies. Overnight oncall includes cover of a medical outlier ward, Caesar Hawkins, which is located oppositeChampneys ward.
