An exciting opportunity has arisen in Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) for a motivated and dedicated pharmacy technician to join our team of specialist technicians and pharmacists, in providing high quality clinical pharmacy services.Our Pharmacy Services are highly respected, and our staff work closely with multi-disciplinary teams. The provision of support and training to progress you and your professional development is of upmost importance to us. If you would like to be part of this successful, friendly, high-profile service, where the most important role is to ensure best quality patient care, we may have a post for you.
This position offers the chance to develop clinical and operational skills within mental health. You will be expected to routinely undertake medicines reconciliations, check patient’s medicines for suitability of reuse and order medicines for patients. You will also be expected to work with the wards to ensure patients receive appropriate information about their medicines.
There is also the opportunity to be involved in the development of our Pharmacy Technician service to our Home Treatment Teams and to support shaping how this service is delivered.
Applicants should be able to work within a team, be proactive and have a keen interest in mental health. Applicants must also be a registered practising pharmacy technician with the GPhC. This full-time post will be based at Beech House, Rosemount Site, Macclesfield. Working hours are 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday, part-time and flexible working requests would be considered.
