Job Title: Complex Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA)

Location: Brighton

salary: £15-£17 p.h

We are currently seeking an experienced Complex Care Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Brighton.

Job Description: As a Complex Care Healthcare Assistant at Sirona Medical, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to our clients with complex medical conditions. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support, ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide PEG feeding and management
• Assist with tracheostomy care
• Perform wound dressing and management
• Administer medication accurately and safely
• Manage stoma care, including changing and maintenance
• Monitor and record patient’s condition and progress
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Offer emotional support and reassurance to clients and their families
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a complex care setting
• Competency in PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, wound dressing, medication administration, and stoma care
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to delivering high-quality care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights
