Working as part of a specialty team, the post holder will offer support to ensure patients are afforded a professional and caring service within the necessary clinical timescales.The post holder will be responsible for admitting and discharging patients, outpatient reception duties and ensuring pre and post admission information is sent to the relevant person(s).It is vital that patients are appropriately tracked through the process to ensure they receive care at appropriate times, therefore, there will be an element of validation and auditing required to ensure that patients are treated in a timely and efficient manner.The nature of this post requires the post holder to have a high level of tact and diplomacy as well as strict adherence to the rules of confidentiality.
