Health Care Assistant – Band 2
Full Time 37.5 hrs/wk between the hours of 08:30 to 17:00
The Health Care Assistant is expected to actively participate as a member of the nursing team and is responsible for contributing towards the smooth and efficient running of the department, particularly in the areas of Ultrasound scanning and Fluoroscopy.
The Health Care Assistant will assist the nurses, sonographers, radiographers and radiologists in giving individualised care to the patients.

Haywards Heath has easy access to the South Downs National Park and is within one hour of London by train.
We require enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly team in the Imaging Department at PRH, rotating occasionally to RSCH and HPC.
You will be required to assist qualified nurses, radiographers and radiologists in giving a high standard of quality care to our patients and will support the team in the smooth running of the department.
You will be required to work as part of the multidisciplinary team, maintaining a professional and caring manner.
You will gain a variety of experiences working in various areas of the department including the Ultrasound Department, Fluoroscopy and CT Scanner.
Previous nursing experience is desirable but full training will be given.
Support will be provided to help you develop your skills within this speciality.
