An Excellent 24/7 Small Animal Hospital is Looking for a Small Animal Vet to Expand their Team!


Based in South Wales, this practice includes a state of the art hospital and three satellite branches. You will be joining their large, experienced, team of eighteen vets - including multiple certificate holders, twenty RVNs, and a large team of technicians, assistants, and admin staff.

The practice sees a wide and varied caseload, with the hospital providing referral and emergency services to a large swathe of local practices. This means there is scope to tailor the role to your clinical interests. Furthermore, all branches are very well equipped with digital and dental x-rays, bloody analysers, ultrasound, and radiosurgery units. The hospital then possess a CT Scanner, advanced ultrasonography, endosurgery facilities, extensive blood analysis equipment, and dedicated orthopaedic, soft-tissue, exotic, and dental surgery suites.

The practice also offers a very good rota, and can consider full- and part-time applicants. Full-time averages 37.8 hours a week over four days, including working either Saturday or Sunday every five weeks. You will also work one bank holiday per year. There is no OOHs, as they have a dedicated team covering these.

  • Full-time equals 37.8 hours per week over four days.
  • 1/5 Saturday Or Sundays.
  • No OOH.


Package And Benefits


  • Salary up to £65,000 DOE.
  • £1,750 CPD budget + 5 days.
  • Will support certificates with funding, caseload, and guidance.
  • 6.6 weeks holiday including bank holidays.
  • Sick pay is 2 weeks full pay and 2 weeks half pay.
  • RCVS, VDS, and two professional subscriptions paid.
  • Life insurance, workplace pension, and health insurance provided.
  • Health shield plan
