All roles within the Hospice require employees to demonstrate our core values (Compassionate, Skilled, Trustworthy, Ethical, Accountable, Integrity) in the care they provide to patients. Are you ready to lead quality, improvement and development of services within a growing, high performing Palliative and End of Life Care team, alongside other supportive services?
Do you want to see creative ideas grow into services that meet the needs of people with life limiting illnesses and their carers?
Teesside Hospice, a highly regarded organisation that operates across South Tees and North Yorkshire is seeking a Director of Nursing and Quality, reporting to the CEO, to lead its current services and develop new initiatives that meet the needs of the community.
The Clinical Team currently provides hospice care for people in the onsite In-Patient Unit, Lymphoedema clinic, Wellbeing and Bereavement Support hubs, and in the community. Other services to meet the needs of our community are being considered in the context of our new strategy, which will be implemented from April 2025.
The hospice was rated Good by CQC at its last inspection and is ambitious to achieve better results at its next review.
We require an experienced leader who can fulfil the role of Registered Manager, preferably with experience of end of life care provision but this is not essential and who can work with the CEO to establish and deliver a strategic vision for the clinical services.
We can offer a competitive salary, generous benefits, flexible working and a commitment to your personal development.
