We're in search of a dedicated Medical Receptionist to become a vital part of our bustling team in the vibrant city of London.

As a Medical Receptionist, you'll be at the heart of ensuring the smooth operation of both the reception area and consulting rooms. Your responsibilities will encompass confidently managing busy patient areas, handling patient appointments on Clinical Conductor and TM3, and efficiently managing cash and card payments. You'll play a pivotal role in coordinating blood tests, collection, and imaging scans, while also engaging in discussions about services and products with patients and consultants. Your duties extend to booking patients at various sites, preparing the clinic schedule, and formatting clinic letters and reports. Additionally, you'll liaise with consultants, clinicians, and patients to foster a culture of exceptional service and satisfaction. Your support for Clinical Trials Coordinators and managing clinic diaries to ensure appointments run smoothly are vital aspects of your role. Flexibility is key, as you'll work within a rota system covering extended clinic hours, including Saturdays. Lastly, you'll contribute to maintaining adequate supplies and support audit completion and post-management.

Medical Receptionist Requirements


  • Secretarial or Reception experience within healthcare is essential
  • Requires excellent customer service skills
  • Strong administration skills and experience are essential
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload
  • To act in a professional and caring manner towards patients, visitors and colleagues at all times.
