We are the leading specialist of abortion advice and treatment in the UK, supporting over 100,000 women a year in over 50 healthcare clinics nationwide.
Over the last 12 months we have gone through significant organisational change and are putting in place a new leadership structure, supported by a Senior Operational Team. This role is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team.

The Chief Operating Officer is a key member of the Executive Leadership team, responsible for ensuring the safe, effective delivery of operational services and the delivery of BPAS objectives.
You will lead operational performance, service delivery and the achievement of organisational priorities that focus on patient safety and choice. This encompasses all patient touch points including telemedicine, Booking and Information Centre and in Clinic services.

The role of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) is central to BPASs mission of delivering safe, effective, and compassionate reproductive healthcare services.
As a COO, your responsibilities will include ensuring the seamless and efficient delivery of all operational services, from telemedicine and in-clinic care to client support services and supply chain management. You will lead the operational performance across the organisation, ensuring that every aspect of our service aligns with our vision of empowering women with the choice and access they deserve.
You will contribute to the development and implementation of BPASs strategy, working collaboratively with other executives to ensure that our services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and patient satisfaction. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the operational structure of the organisation, optimising capacity, and driving service improvements that enhance patient outcomes and experience.
We are seeking a COO with significant experience in healthcare operations, particularly in managing complex, multi-site services within a tightly regulated environment. You will have a proven track record of leading organisational change, developing new models of care, and managing large-scale estates and procurement functions. Your strategic insight and ability to translate vision into actionable objectives will be critical as BPAS navigates a period of significant evolution and growth.
