We are looking for a candidate with previous Receptionist experience, or similar Admin/Clerical Support experience or Customer/Patient Service experience, to provide an efficient and comprehensive service delivery to patients, staff and visitors, across the Mental Health and Learning Disability services. This post will be based at the Main Reception at Clerkseat Building, Royal Cornhill Hospital.
The successful candidate will have excellent communications and interpersonal skills as well as being able to accurately record information. An ability to use office equipment e.g. computer, emails and the ability to deal with the demands of a busy reception are essential. Excellent communications skills, confidentiality and a sensitive approach to dealing with clients are also essential for this post.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team on a 4-week rota system alongside 3 other colleagues. The successful candidate will be contracted to work two out of four weekends (Saturday and Sunday), with shift patterns/hours any time between 7am and 10pm.
Candidates should be qualified in Higher Grade Secretarial or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 Standard Grades or equivalent including English.
