The post holder will act as the deputy to the Team Leader/Sister/Charge Nurse regularly taking charge of the clinical area and ensuring that the standards and quality of care given to patients and clients, together with the environment in which care is delivered, are maintained at a high standard.
The South & East Cardiff Locality are looking to recruit a motivated and forward-thinking nurse to serve as Deputy Team Leader in District Nursing.
You will need to be a qualified nurse who is clinically capable and has experience of supervising staff. You will be ready to develop further in both areas, in order to provide an expert resource to junior nursing colleagues and to assist the Team Leader in ensuring high quality care is provided to patients. You will be committed to the continuous improvement of Community Nursing.
We provide a comprehensive induction programme and encourage professional development and lifelong learning.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
