The difference you will make as a Regeneration Officer
You will handle the resident engagement, consultation and communication relating to our regeneration projects in London, focussing particularly on meaningful, effective and compliant engagement and consultation. You will work closely with residents in possible regeneration areas, taking their views and needs into account, communicating them to the wider organisation and ensuring the highest levels of service can be achieved. You will keep accurate, timely and detailed records of your activity that will compile over the life of a project to provide a comprehensive history of our regeneration activity in support of any eventual planning application. You will be mindful of and comply with all data protection law and regulations.

Role Profile


  • Responsible for delivering the resident liaison aspects of our regeneration projects, including resident relocation and co-ordinating moves as appropriate.
  • Engage, consult, liaise and negotiate with residents and other internal/external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of regeneration projects.
  • Accurately gather the views of residents and other stakeholders on various aspects of regeneration and related activity; and make them available to any associated teams/staff/contractors in order to influence proposals for change.
  • If appropriate, devise and arrange a cost-effective rolling programme of resident moves to enable estate regeneration and refurbishment schemes to take place.
  • Produce and maintain clear and accessible records on all resident liaison issues and project management activity
  • Work flexibly in order to support affected residents in regeneration areas, including working evenings and weekends as required (offset by flexi time/TOIL arrangements)
  • Represent One Housing and its interests appropriately at public events and engagements, which may involve liaising with both political stakeholders and local authority officers.
