Working in conjunction with the wider hospital team to deliver a high standard of care to all our patients.Managing and leading a busy department and team of ED staff. Motivating and role modelling high standards, implementing and driving improvements and initiatives. Continuously striving to achieve an outstanding Emergency department.

The post-holder will provide enthusiastic, passionate and innovative Nursing team leadership, demonstrating outstanding evidence based clinical practice and leadership within the multi-professional team, combined with clear and effective operational/resource management. To lead on the development of nursing practice and standards of care. To deputise for the Matron when necessary.
