The Countess of Chester Hospital is seeking a full-time Medical Staffing Coordinator to join its Medical Staffing Team. This role involves overseeing day-to-day administrative tasks to facilitate the efficient operation of the Medical Staffing Workforce, including the coordination and maintenance of medical staff rotas and ensuring adequate locum cover. The coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for inquiries related to medical staff and provide guidance on workforce issues, while managing multiple shared inboxes and communication platforms to prioritize and address queries effectively.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining medical workforce data and providing detailed information on staff establishments as needed. The Trust serves a population of approximately 407,000 across various healthcare facilities and employs over 6,250 staff members, providing a wide range of services including emergency and elective care. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the operational success of a busy district general hospital.
