An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Medical Resourcing Team within the Medicine Division at Arrowe Park Hospital. We are looking for a dynamic individual with strong administrative skills who can work as part of a team and on their own initiative. The successful candidate will receive full training and be supported as they develop into the role.
You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team providing a medical and resourcing service for the Medicine Division.
This is a 25.50 hour substantive post, but we would also welcome anyone looking for a secondment opportunity.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will administratively support the Medicine Division in providing a high standard of medical cover/care with regard to all issues affecting medical staff cover and is responsible for initiating the necessary action in order to maintain service requirements. The post-holder is responsible for keeping accurate financial and attendance records and is expected to contribute to workforce planning.
The Roster Co-ordinator will be responsible for achieving a high standard of medical cover by the efficient deployment/maximisation of medical staff resources within the Division, by the concise allocation of duties for junior and middle grade doctors to ensure medical rota management issues are appropriately handled in accordance with Trust Policies and procedures, seeking advice and support as necessary. The post holder will report to their specified division.
