The Morecambe Bay Primary Care Collaborative is seeking two newly qualified Salaried GPs (Urgent Care) for the Barrow Together PCN, specifically targeting candidates within two years of their certification and without prior substantive posts. The role involves delivering urgent care services across four of the eight practices within the network, focusing on assessing and treating acutely unwell patients. Responsibilities include conducting consultations (in-person, telephone, and video), home visits, managing prescriptions, engaging with quality improvement activities, and making independent clinical decisions.

Candidates are expected to promote patient care by developing health management plans, providing counselling and education, and documenting consultations accurately. Adherence to organisational procedures, patient confidentiality, and participation in professional development are essential.
