The Patient Safety Manager at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust will play a pivotal role in promoting patient safety by leading timely and effective responses to safety incidents. The position demands collaboration with Clinical Management Groups (CMG) and external stakeholders to enhance patient care while ensuring adherence to Trust and national safety policies. Key responsibilities include conducting reviews and investigations, implementing improvement action plans, and ensuring compliance with Duty of Candour requirements. The manager will also deliver patient safety training, develop systems for quality improvement, maintain incident management data, and support the Patient Safety Lead in Trust-wide initiatives.
