The Payroll and Finance Officer at LCW UCC in London will be responsible for the efficient management of the payroll function, particularly during the implementation of the iTrent HR/payroll system scheduled for February 2025. This role will initially focus on processing payroll for approximately 250 staff, addressing related queries, and ensuring compliance with statutory deductions and submissions to HMRC and NHS Pensions Online. As the role evolves, the officer will balance payroll responsibilities with supporting the Senior Accountant in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, while also assisting with month-end activities, VAT returns, and audits.

Additionally, the Payroll and Finance Officer will collaborate with key stakeholders including the HR team and departmental managers to maintain accuracy in payroll records, report generation, and overall financial compliance. They will play a vital role in enhancing financial systems and processes, supporting project accounting, and contributing to decision-making through financial analysis. Interviews for this position will take place on February 10, 2025.
