Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust is seeking to recruit 6 part-time Phlebotomists for their team in Truro. The role involves providing a phlebotomy service for inpatient wards, oncology, and haematology clinics, following Trust policies and protocols. Responsibilities include taking venous blood samples as requested, ensuring infection control, delivering samples to laboratories, and conducting first-line tests. Phlebotomists will work under the direction of the Phlebotomy lead, maintain patient confidentiality, and participate in ongoing training and supervision of team members. Candidates must pass identity, professional registration, employment history, health, criminal record, and right-to-work checks. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed during the interview process.
