Carlton Group Practice in Burton-on-Trent is seeking a dedicated and innovative Primary Care Nurse Manager/Lead to join their team. This full-time role involves overseeing a nursing team comprising four Practice Nurses, two Healthcare Assistants (HCAs), and a Phlebotomist, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care, including chronic and acute condition management. The ideal candidate will have significant nursing experience and a proven track record in team management, training, and performance evaluation, while also demonstrating the ability to drive service enhancements and manage infection control across two surgery locations.

The Nurse Manager will collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team to facilitate a smooth transition to a new surgery site and evaluate service offerings. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, overseeing chronic disease clinics, supporting health promotion initiatives, managing patient medications, and ensuring compliance with clinical standards and policies. The role also requires effective communication with external agencies to assist vulnerable patients and contribute to overall team leadership in the delivery of exemplary patient care. Part-time hours may be considered for this position.
