Wem and Prees Medical Practice is seeking a qualified GP practice dispenser to join their dispensing team in Prees, offering part-time hours up to 27 per week, Monday through Friday, with no evening or weekend shifts. The role involves efficiently dispensing medication to patients, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting the dispensary manager in financial oversight. A strong attention to detail is essential, as responsibilities include managing prescription workflows, handling patient queries, checking medication accuracy, and maintaining stock levels.

Daily tasks will also encompass administrative duties such as managing the dispensary’s inventory, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with regulations concerning controlled substances. Based in our Medical Practice in Prees you will be working part-time up to 27 hours per week, please note you will not be required to work evenings or weekends.

Your role will be to provide a quick efficient service to our patients, ensuring accurate dispensing of medication and to assist the dispensary manager in insuring effective financial control of the dispensary.

This position requires high levels of attention to detail as the role includes being responsible for ensuring the correct medication is handed out to the correct patient whilst respecting patientconfidentiality at all times.

Our Dispensary is a busy but good place to work with an excellent team and supportive management.
