The Referral Coordinator role at Wokingham Hospital, under the Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust, involves managing referrals for community services via telephone and email. The coordinator processes these referrals onto a clinical platform, ensuring accurate collection of information and timely signposting to the appropriate services. Responsibilities include answering calls, recording referral details, and collaborating with a Triage Team for email referrals. This position requires effective communication skills, the ability to empathize with clients, and accurate data inputting. The service operates Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 18:00, with opportunities for occasional remote work after training, although candidates must be prepared to attend the office at short notice.

Candidates must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication abilities, be sensitive to the needs of others, and possess a flexible approach to work. Essential requirements include a compatible home internet connection for remote work and the completion of all mandatory training.
