The work of the department is based at University Hospital of Wales (UHW) with inpatient beds located on ward C6 PESU and emergency beds on the Same Day Emergency Care unit (SDEC) & B6 ward. There are two dedicated urology operating theatres in the Short Stay Surgical Unit (SSSU) with sessions running every weekday. A Da Vinci Xi Robot is situated within SSSU.
