Please note, at this stage, the role is open only to internal staff (including NHSP and Agency staff currently on placement within our organisation) and staff substantively employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts and the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB). Any individual who is at risk of redundancy will be given priority, provided they meet the essential criteria.We are looking for a Band 3 Administrator to join our busy team based at the Rosewood Mother and Baby Unit in Dartford.You will be a flexible resource to support the team in the provision of services to include the organisation of work for yourself and other team members and will have front line contact with service users, carers, the general public, or other external stakeholders, as well as internal colleagues.The Administrator will support the inpatient unit with tasks such as reception duties, typing, preparation of correspondence, customer service, organisation, eg, diary management and organising meetings and events + maintenance of effective and efficient working systems and supporting business and performance management.No hybrid opportunity,ward-based only, Monday - Friday
Main duties of the job
o Respond to requests and provide information to external and internal queries from staff, service users in the generic inbox and answer the ward phone.o Uses electronic communication systems, e.g., email, in accordance with Trust policy.o May initiate communications with service users, e.g., regarding appointment changes and/or to internal colleagues.o Distribution of information - usually electronically.o Arranging meetings and booking rooms.o Monitoring of the generic email account.o Maintaining safeguarding procedures when answering the phone and emails, adhering to GDPR guidelines and Trust policies.
