Job summary
To form an integral part of the front of house and administrative team, contributing to the daily office routine within General Practice. The role shall include various administrative tasks, reception duties and dealing with telephone enquiries.

Main duties of the job
The following are the core responsibilities ofthe Administrator Receptionist:Undertakereception duties for both the Victoria Medical Centre and The Beacon Practice whenrequired following protocols and procedureGreetall patients and visitors in a courteous and polite manner, offering allreasonable assistanceHandlingand processing of prescriptionsBookappointments by telephone and face to faceUndertakeAdministrative duties including completing of tasks both in EMIS Web and DOCMAMRegisteringof new patientsSendingFP10s to Appliance companies e.g Nutricia, BullensActas the first point of contact for patients raising concerns or informalcomplaints.Supportpatients by directing them to the most appropriate service or clinician basedon their needs.Carryout daily opening and closing duties to ensure the smooth and secure operationof the practice.Filingdocuments such as ECGs and non-urgent scanning
